Sex (or as I like to call it...Good Orgasms-s-s-s-s) definitely keep you young. It's just like eating your veggies! If you don't have 'em, you get cranky and lethargic. It's funny, I even told the Elders that during my JC meeting! You should have seen the look on thier faces. They were probably wishing thier wives had that attitude. I truly believe that is what keeps me in such a happy-go-lucky mood most of the time. It is a great stress reliever, plus it's FUN! Most people don't believe I'm forty. It must be that youthful look of contentment on my face. (hehe)

Can Good Sex keep you young?
by JH inthis article says that if you have sex often, you will stay younger.
do you believe that having a good sex life will keep you younger and will make you healthier?

People who put on a "Polly Perfect" act. Sometimes it isn't even an act. They are the kind of people you can't joke around with because they have a corn cob up their "perfect" little ass. They NEVER curse. They NEVER tell an off color joke, OR laugh at one. The things they do find humorous would be something on a OLD Disney movie. You just feel like you gotta walk on eggshells so you don't offend them with who you really are.

When you go door to door, can you please explain to me what you are trying to tell the people who have never heard of the JW's before. What "truth" are you sharing with others? What exactly do you think people like us do when we leave the organization? Arrogance is not a sure sign that you have the "TRUTH". Your comments sounded arrogant and uninformed about the world around you. No disrespect intended. I just want to know what it is you are trying to accomplish. Are you wanting to bash those who no longer belong with your group or do you truly care about others coming back to the "truth" with genuine concern because you believe you have it all figured out?

I LOVE to sing. Mostly country but I can pull off a Stevie Nicks song now and then too. I used to LOVE going to Karoake bars. I actually had people come up and make requests for certain songs. As far as I was concerned I was in concert for those few minutes. Absolutely love it. My father and I had a band when I was 16. We even cut a record. Then like a dumbass, I got married at 17 and my husband didn't want me singing in bars anymore. Damn him!

Disfellowshipping
by larc ini have read many stories here about those who have been disfellowshiped.
they express the pain of the experience, and the emotional trauma they experience.
i have to ask a question.

Pamkw, you are too cool. I wish I had the nerve to speak to some of them. I know what you mean about 1975. I got baptised in '74. You know, the year BEFORE armageddon? Maybe I should try to speak up next time I'm out shopping and see one of my old buds.

Unfortunately at 11 years of age you aren't thinking about the RULES.
- Getting baptized at 11. First mistake.
- Getting married at 17 so I could have sex to keep from BREAKING the rules. Second mistake.
- BELIEVING that the mind controlling cult I was raised in was the TRUTH because of all the blasted RULES. Third mistake.
I have never cried or felt hurt for being disfellowshiped. I wish it would have happened a long time ago because I HATE RULES. I just wish I would have never been raised in the cult to begin with. That way when I come across a cousin or other JW family member at the mall or a resturaunt they would actually say hello instead of looking the other way. That is what it's all about you know. Human kindness. Having enough sense to know that speaking to someone out in public isn't going to make you go WORLDLY or interfere with your relationship with the Creator. You know,... the guy who paid for my sins already?

Whats the nicest thing anyone has said/done to you?
by SpiceItUp in.
in the spirit of minimus i thought i'd put a positive spin on things.
they say when you surrond yourself with the positive its easier to be positive and vice versa for negativity (no offense to min as i also fully believe that you have to deal with negativity too).... that being said....whats the nicest thing, compliment, gift etc that anyone has ever said or done to/for you?.

Wow, am I only the second one to reply to this boring positive question? I like to vent my negative feelings, but you are right about needing something positive in the midst of all of this.
I guess my answer would be "You sure have a cute butt." (Spoken by my husband almost everyday )
